Clearing your misconceptions about Veganism and Vegans

“Vegan” is a term that attracts so much negativity from non-vegans. This is mainly because nobody wants to be held accountable and told that they’re wrong. Especially, when this “ wrong thing” is being done by millions of people all around the world, it’s hard to make people realize that what they’re doing isn’t right.

According to World Economic Forum, we, humans, eat more meat than the number of humans to exist. Apart from the way the animals are slaughtered/exploited, they are packed in tightly closed spaces like a cage/barn their whole life before they are sent to the slaughterhouse. The term Free Range is, in most cases, a lie. Over 90% of the meat consumed by humans is from factory-based slaughterhouses. The label is only given to make the buyers feel better about the immoral choice they are making.

Animals like cows, pigs, goats, and chickens are kept in captivity their whole lives. Not only are they bred in an unnatural amount to meet the demands of the consumers, but also exploited by being fed artificial and unhealthy substances to make their meat or milk more desirable (tastier) to the consumer.
